Our History

Accurate Cutting Forme was formed in 1980 after the business was purchased from J.E. & M.P. Casey, where Darryl learnt his trade for 5 years. Accurate Cutting Forme was operated as a one-man show for 12 months in a 300 square feet shop front, in the Brisbane suburb of Windsor.

In 1981 the company took on it's first employee, and soon needed bigger premises. At the same time Die Making Supplies was formed when Accurate Cutting Forme was granted an agency for Steel Rule Distribution Australasia, for the sale of cutting, creasing, and make-ready materials for the Printing& Packaging trades.

In 1982 Accurate Cutting Forme bought it's first factory in Stafford, where the business quickly grew. Accurate Cutting Forme has moved three times since then, each time running out of space for staff and equipment. Accurate Cutting Forme now operates out of a premises at Geebung , with state-of-the-art die-making equipment such as autobenders, CNC routers, the latest in CAD systems, and highly trained staff both in the printing, packaging, and manufacturing industries.

The company now operates under the Accurate Group Pty Ltd, trading as Accurate Cutting Forme, Die Making Supplies, and Contours Customised Solutions. In 2006 the Group embarked on the philosophy of Lean Manufacturing.

Accurate Group, now well into it's 4th decade of service to the printing and packaging industry, the founder Darryl Hynes, and the staff, maintain the goals to be a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of die-making solutions.
